The biggest news is that Thames River Press are publishing four more titles in September, and also the latter half of the year sees another title by Inoue Hisashi appear in translation, which I think will be the fourth by him to appear this year?, really looking forward to reading Tales From a Mountain Cave. I've also put on the list two anthologies that I'm also looking forward to - Three Dimensional Reading: Stories of Time and Space in Japanese Modernist Fiction, (although I don't think this is published in the U.K until September), and also The Book of Tokyo from Comma Press. A True Novel by Mizumura Minae looks like a beautifully presented book, slip cased in two volumes. Here's hoping more titles will appear in the meantime before the end of the year to add to the list.

I'd already heard about the Comma Press collection, but I didn't know about the Soseki - that's another early Christmas present for myself :)
I've the older translation of the Soseki by V.H Viglielmo, so perhaps I'll manage to fit in a reading of that one before the John Nathan one arrives.
Hopefully there'll be more to add before the year is out.
Looks like some great books coming out, but at this moment I'm more interested in poetry. But still I'm quite easily tempted.
Would be good to see some new poetry translations, although due out on the 20th of this month is a book I've been rather quietly looking forward to seeing - 'Lizard Telepathy, Fox Telepathy' by Yoshinori Henguchi, published by Chin Music Press.
... although checking this on amazon.com they have a publication date for September...
